Boiler installation can be confusing making it vital you ask the right questions to your gas safe registered engineer, so you fully understand what you are paying for before any work starts.

We know it can be difficult to think of what questions to ask so here are a few to get you started:

  • Will you provide a heat loss calculation or an EDR connected load calculation to size my new boiler?
  • Will you be installing a low water cut off device? Why or why not?
  • Are you going to be insulating the pipes on my new boiler? If so, what type of insulation will you install?
  • Will you be commissioning the new boiler with proper chemicals to remove production oils, dirt, sludge, flux residues, pipe dope, etc.?
  • Is there a warranty for the systems parts and labour unconditionally for 1 year or more?
